Butterfly Moments

I made a couple cards from this beautiful digital set 'Everyday Miracles' from Sweet'n Sassy stamps. I finally got a new program to work with on my computer so I can adjust sizes around and use PNG transparent background images. This opens up so much more possibilities!!!!

I used my copics to colour the butterfly then added some gold stickles to the wings.

I SEA its your Birthday!

This is a card that I made up for my friends sons 5th birthday. I love these cute little ocean images from Whimsie Doodles http://www.whimsiedoodles.com/whats-new.html. I coloured the image with copics and used misc. paper from my scraps drawer. Used a cuttlebug folder for some texture and added some faux stitching around the edge to match with the image.

'Ruby' is a character!

I came across 'Bugaboo stamps' http://www.bugaboostamps.com/Shop_digistamps.html a short while ago and was impressed by the variety of images available. I spent lots of time browsing through the shop add decided to get some of these funny images of 'Ruby'. Bugaboo is having a 50% off sale right now so I stocked up a little more with the character images, they are to funny!!
I just wanted to make some really simple cards with these images so I could make a collection of them that were all very similar!!

2 Challenges in 1

I made a card today using Split coast stampers scketch #288 and then used the 'Whimsie Doodles' challenge of using sand, water or a frosty beverage in your project! So this is what I came up with. Having 3 young children, this will definatly get used for one of their friends!!!

The image is from 'Whimsie Doodles', 'Shell a bration' digital set.......all the images are just so darn cute!!!!!
So for the challenge I went with sand and water....I ripped some kraft paper and glued the strips then punched out to look like the shell was in the sand!!

With Sympathy

This is another card I made using the set from Papertrey Ink called 'Out on a Limb'. I love this set and I have made many of these cards with the same layout but using different colours and sentiments. This is the first that I have used the white ink on kraft paper and I really like the look of it. I think it is a nice soft look for a sympathy card.

The border punch is a Martha Stewart and the cuttlebug folder is 'Birds & Swirls'.

Thinking of you - SSS52

This is a card that I made using 'The Sweet Stop Sketch #52". I love this digital image and love colouring it. I am still learning to use my copics and I find this image is one that I can do ok. The spin on this weeks challenge was 'Buttons & Bows', so you needed to incorporate them into the sketch.

The image that I used for this is 'Forget-me-not' from The Sweet'n Sassy.

Daughters Birthday Card

This is a card that I made for my daughters birthday last week. Her favorite colour is red and she has long blond hair, that is where I got my colours from for the 'Emma'. This image is a digital download from 'Fred SHe Said' called 'Emma with a sign'. I love that this download comes with a few choices to be in the sign.

I used real red and summer sun cardstock from SU, MS border punch, copics for the colouring, ribbon and some little red pearls.

Blessed Easter

Well, here is another card that I have made with a 'Fred She Said' digital download. I really love the look of the outline shape, it is from the set 'Paper pricking patterns frame', it makes for a simple card to put together. The rose is from the 'Corner Rose' and the sentiment is from 'Easter lilies with sentiments'. I used a little stickles around the edges of the rose for some glimmer.

Abundant Blessings

I made up a couple more cards that could be used for a few different occations. Some of the images used are new releases from Fred She Said. The shape and outline are from a new paper pricking pattern and the rose is from a pre-coloured digital download called 'Corner Rose' and the yellow flower is from a set called 'Fall Flowers'. The sentiment is from 'Verve' and the green flourish is from 'There She Goes'.

I cut the shape by hand and with the yellow card just added its own dots around the edge.

Teacup Pansies

These are another simple card that I made from a pre-coloured digital download from "Fred, She Said". I need to get some Mother's Day cards to a hospital gift shop and I thought these would work well.

The Set I used for this is called 'Blue Pansies set' and 'Purple Pansies set'. The speckled paper at the bottom of the cards also comes with the download. I cuttlebugged the background paper, used nesties for the focal image and then used my favorite MS border punch and finished them off with some white ribbon.

Gift set

I thought that this set of flower images from 'Fred She Said' would make such a cute little gift set for someone...not sure who will get it yet!

I just made a very simple box with 2 sheets of 8 1/2 x 10 cardstock and scoring it to fit the A2 size card. Added a extra image and some matching ribbon to the front of the box to complete the look.

Splitcoast SC269

I was able to participate in SCS sketch challeng this week and this is what I came up with. I turned the card into a vertical instead of horizontal.

This is a cute little cards that I made using another pre-coloured image from 'Fred She Said' called 'Bunneh! - Easter Bunny coloured'. I thought this would make a great little card for my kids. The purple paper is misc. from the stash and the yellows are 'Lemon Tart' from Papertry Ink.

You are a Blessing

This is a card that I made with another new image from Fred She Said. This one is called 'Emma with a Sign' digi set. It comes with other greeting in the sign, but thought I would try this one for something different to go into my stash. The yellow in the card is not this mustard looking in real life, the camera just couldn't capture the true colour.

This image also comes with three sizes of this cute little flower. I coloured her with my copics and then found misc. paper that matched her dress and shoes.

I used my MS border punch to create a small frill under Emma's dress, using regular computer paper so I could crunch it up and make it softer to work with.

I also used a few of the flowers to decorate the inside of the card.........I love these flowers!!
