Masculine Fish Cards

I have been looking around for some more masculine digital images to use and I came across this one at Delicious Doodles. I thought this would make a perfect birthday card!!! The moss green paper and DP is from Papertrey and the mustard cards paper and DP is cajun craze from Stampin up. The sentiment used is computer generated. I looked through my supplies and was happy to find close matching markers for both of these colours so I added in some random spotting around the fish!

Just Bee-cause using black

This is a card that I created for a challenge over on 'Meljens Designs' blog. The challenge was to use black so I picked out this cute little bee image also from Meljens Design to use. The sentiment is computer generated. The black polka dot paper is from Papertrey and the other is out of my misc stash.

Masculine Classic

I have been trying to make a few more masculine cards. I looked around and found a few suitable digital images. This is a image that I found at 'Doodle Pantry', which also came with this and another sentiment which are great! The cardstock is from Stampin Up (cajun craze) and the DP is also the co-ordinating papers.

Neighbourhood Bunnies

I made this card to participate in Meljens Design challenge this week. The challenge this week was to use DOTS!!! Well I love dots, so this wasn't a problem for me! The image is one from Meljens Designs found on Whimsy Stamps and the sentiment is from Fred She Said. The reason that I chose this image is because we have to little wild rabbits that hang out in our yard daily. They are a boy and a girl and I have tried to colour them as close as I could to their real colours. The kids get a real big kick watching them munch on the grass out our front window........they have even named them "Yoco" and "Marshmellow".

The background paper is from Pink Petticoat . I have been using a lot of these papers lately because they come in soooooo many colours, they are offered in simple desings and come in a positive and a negative!

2 Challenges in 1

I was able to put two challenges into one card today!!!! I first came across this cute little FREE image over on Meljen's Designs blog ( http://meljensdesignsdt.blogspot.com/ ) . The challenge was their Thursday challenge "U R Such an ANIMAL". I colored this image a few days ago and never got around to making up the card. Then I looked up th 'Sweet n' Sassy Sketch Challenge' and thought this image would be perfect! The background paper is a digital download that I found on a site called 'Pink Petticoat'.

My son was home from school today, but was well enough to make his own take on this sketch.....I did tie the bow for him, he is only six!!!

Sweet n' Sassy sketch SSS97

Wow.......the second sketch challenge in one week!!!!!
This is a card that I made for the Sweet n' Sassy sketch challenge. I used the digital image 'Everyday Miracles' from Sweet n' Sassy, coloured with SU marker 'Orchid Opulence' and then covered with Stickles. The background daisy papers were a digital download from 'Pink Petticoat Papers' and oh my gosh.......love them. The paper download was about 50 different colours of this same pattern........I have used the positive and the negative paper on this card, looking forward to using them again!!!!
Other items used on the card were various Marvy punches and a Martha Stewart edger punch.

Mojo Monday 180

Well, I participated in a Mojo Monday challang today, first one in a long time I'm afraid!

The image I used is from 'Bugaboo stamps'. http://www.bugaboostamps.com/home.html
This is a digital image that I coloured in with copics, used a couple different cuttlebug folders, a daisy punch from Marvy and a Fiskars edge punch.

Girly Birthday cards

This is a pre-made clip art that I downloaded from 'The Clipart Fairy'. All I did with these cards is mount them onto matching cardstock, add some stickles to the bear and the hat ribbon and added extra paper edger lace with white ribbon over top! I just think these are just so cute and I love the mellow colours that were used!

Here are a couple of cards that I made using clip art images from http://theclipartfairy.com/ . I love the color combination of these and thought they would be perfect to have in my card stash for my sons friends! The images are from a set called 'Rocket boy set' and I added in the greeting using my own program, added some stickles and ribbon and mounted on certainly celery stampin up cardstock.

Valentines with Clip Art

I have started using a lot of items from 'The Clipart Fairy'. I love being able to wip up a card quickly for a birthday and I find with the items offered through 'The Clipart Fairy' I am able to make up a full front of a card and then make it into a card with backing, ribbon and some sparkle!

Today I was visiting the blog and came across 'The Clipart Fairys' very first ever challange and thought I would like to participate.......so here is what I came up with!

The items I used in this are 'Lounge Girl' , 'Country Chic' and 'Country Chic Flowers'. I also used some sparkle on her outfit and the flower!

Challenge rules copied from The Clipart fairy blog:

"The challenge remains the same, you must use only theclipartfairy products and you must include both a semi-circle and a heart, it doesn't have to be the same shape heart as in pic above so long as it's a heart.
It can be for any theme, any colour, any style!"

This is another card that I also whipped up using The Clipart Fairy..........if I'm printing out a 8.5 by 11 sheet, I like to fill it up and extra cards on hand are always a good thing!!!
