Poinsettia Christmas

I made this card using a set from Verve that I got last year 'Poinsettia Christmas'. The DP is just misc. from my stash. I used the scallop edge punch from SU and MS border punch. The leaf punch is one I got years ago from 'punch bunch', and of course added some gems.

Riley and the Christmas tree

Well I finally got around to making up some cards with this Riley stamp. The reason that I had to wait is because I have been waiting for more copic markers to arrive in the mail, and in that package were a couple markers that I thought would work better for Riley. I decided to make up a few of these to give out this year. All the greeting were made up on the computer. The shimmery brown paper was purchased at Micheals in a 'Collections' pack. I think it really adds to the holiday feel. The edge punch is from EK Success and I used the Cuttlebug snowflake folder.

So today he has a freebie that you can grab but it will be gone soon!! The sentiment on this card is computer generated. The link to his blog is on my list of 'Places I like to shop'.

The border punch is from Fiskars and the large snowflake was cut from my Cricut. Then added some stickles, ribbon and gems. I will be making a few of these maybe in different colours to mail out this year!!

Sweet Stop Sketch #29

This is the first time I have participated in the Sweet Shop Sketch. I liked the look of this one so I gave it a go. The image is another digital download, but it was one of the first that I downloaded and forgot to change the file name to include the company it came from.....so sorry for not including company......if anyone knows could you leave me a comment? The sentiment is computer generated. I added some stickles on his scarf and hat, and I found these cute little snowflakes at a dollar store. They have a very small hole in the center, perfect for the smallest size of gem!

Memorial Fundraiser Digi

This cute little digital download is from Pink Cat Studios. The image was designed for a very special reason. Please visit Pink Cat Studios blog for all the info, but the money raised from the sale of this image goes towards a memorial. http://pinkcatstudio.blogspot.com/
I wanted to purchase this image because I spent this past week with my two youngest fighting the flu, and this story brought tears.
I ended up fussing with this card alot. I used my Copic marker to colour the yellow ribbon to match the giraffe, also coloured the white dots on the DP the same colour to match. Cut a second scallop oval in pink and cut it in half to give one more layer to the main image.
Digital Download - Giraffe & Monkey (Pink Cat Studios)
Paper - Pretty in pink and Chocolate (SU) DP is also SU
MS border punch and cuttlebug folder

More Fun with Freds Flowers

Well it has been a long week with myself being sick and two of my kids so you could say not much crafting time or the desire to do any. I did manage to print off a sheet of Freds Flowers and cut them out to make another fairly simple card (as the flowers are already coloured). This one will go into my stash as it could be given to almost anyone!

Mojo Monday #111

This is a card that I made for today's Mojo Monday. The image is a digital image that I downloaded from Verve. I think they were offering this only for a limited time during there last release! Not sure what is going on with the purple thing I have going on with my Christmas cards. The snowflake paper is something that I picked up from a dollar store last year. The snowflake accent has been cut from my Cricut.
